Since 2013, GDZ DSO has been delivering electrical energy to its customers in the provinces of İzmir and Manisa. In the region where GDZ operates , with the authorization we have received from EMRA, GDZ will provide services as the only licensed electricity distribution company.

As a distribution licence holder, we are responsible for executing connection and system utilisation agreements with users of the distribution facilities, the maintenance of the overall distribution network, collecting electricity consumption data, engaging in billing process and process of installation and operation of the automated meter reading system. In addition, in the area of our authorization, based on the evaluation of energy demands, grid needs and all the other investment requirements,we oversee the lay-out of necessary strategical investment plans to improve grid resilience and reliability.

We continue to provide electric power deliveries to  to approximately 3.3 million of customers in the provinces of İzmir and Manisa with GDZ Electricity Distribution. 

To ensure that as much electricity is available to everyone and everywhere in the region we operate, we adopt a sustainable approach with high quality standards.

• STIMA Boda was created in 2020 with the aim to solve the last bottlenecks to the mass adoption of electric mobility in Sub-Saharan Africa.
   
• We position ourselves as a tech and infrastructure company providing e-motorcycles and battery swapping services to the most intensive two-wheelers in the sub-region: moto-taxi and delivery riders (15 million riders in SSA spending 1000$/y in fuel).
   
• Riders access high performance motorcycles through lease to own contracts with partners and instant recharge services by swapping their battery in our network of stations in cities. Doing so, they save the equivalent of 3 months of net income/year in energy and maintenance, increasing drastically their disposable resources.
   
• Our main added-value for the market: 

- Designing a battery as a service business model making robust and high-performance e-motorcycles affordable for low income riders

- Solving the autonomy range constraints of e-motorcycles with the design of smart & scalable battery swapping infrastructure with high economic performance, financed on the model of the solar industry
