Tercen

Tercen is a Data Analytics platform aimed at Scientists and Researchers who have the requirement to handle Big Data but don't have the computer programming skills to do it.

In Life Sciences modern technology creates way more raw data than there are people with the skills to analyse it. Wet Lab scientists can outnumber their Dry Lab counterparts as much as 20 to 1.

This slows progress as Biologists wait for software services and Programmers get bottlenecked performing administration tasks such as adjusting visuals.

With Tercen, non-coders can upload their own data and make complex analysis pipe-lines with simple drag and drop features. Visualisations are calculated on the fly as the user adjusts settings.

Coders are free to develop apps with their normal tools (such as R or Python) and just plug them in to be used by their colleagues.

This way Biologists are empowered to control their own analysis and Bioinformaticians are liberated to focus on Data Science.
