To make quick decisions, investigators need real-time integration of their patients' clinical and biomarker data. Clinical trials generate data using different laboratory technologies by teams located in different countries. Use Tercen’s multivariate integration and workflow features to follow the behavior of novel therapies.
Tercen is a Data Analytics platform aimed at Scientists and Researchers who have the requirement to handle Big Data but don't have the computer programming skills to do it.
In Life Sciences modern technology creates way more raw data than there are people with the skills to analyse it. Wet Lab scientists can outnumber their Dry Lab counterparts as much as 20 to 1.
This slows progress as Biologists wait for software services and Programmers get bottlenecked performing administration tasks such as adjusting visuals.
With Tercen, non-coders can upload their own data and make complex analysis pipe-lines with simple drag and drop features. Visualisations are calculated on the fly as the user adjusts settings.
Coders are free to develop apps with their normal tools (such as R or Python) and just plug them in to be used by their colleagues.
This way Biologists are empowered to control their own analysis and Bioinformaticians are liberated to focus on Data Science.
Start in 2015
Faris Naji and Alex Maurel meet and begin writing Bioinformatics code together
Samir Naji joins as advisor and angel investor. Tercen is born.
Alpha version of Tercen goes into testing with Amsterdam UMC and Max Planck Institute.
Beta version of Tercen is workshopped. Tercen 1.0 is deployed for early adopters.
Marion Libouban joins as CTO. Tercen is incorporated in Ireland and first customer orders placed.
